Although you have heard about "gypsum" so many times, but have you understood about what gypsum is and its benefits for our life?

For construction and building materials industry, gypsum is used as a material for walls and ceilings. Gypsum board has been introduced to the society since hundreds years ago, and from then on gypsum board is believed as alternative for the building interior.

In Indonesia, gypsum is easy to find in Kalimantan and West Java, but until today the utilization of gypsum in Indonesiahas not been maximized. Of the total 260 million population of Indonesia, the current use of gypsum only reaches 100 million square meters and 95% of them use Gypsum only for the ceiling compared to the wall lining system.*
